They say that they rolled coal on him because he would not let them in... I am sure that is true, but I am also pretty sure the reason he did not let them in because they were driving like douchebags before this ever transpired. Most every rolling coal bro truck I have ever seen drives like they own the road. Filthy rednecks...

As I've said before, the only time at which excessive clouds of smoke are acceptable are when these drivers' faces are drawn long in horror as their precious diesel engine runs away.

too bad it wasnt a turbo miata and pull up and smoke them badly

I wonder if anti lag can combust the diesel smoke...

I just want to slap them. this kind of stuff should be illegal

no, diesel smoke is just carbon.

I think it is. If a police saw that I bet he would pull them over and give them something, reckless driving possibly, public endangerment or something.

Ive been rolled coal on on my bicycle. Its not fun, especially because I have bad asthma. I ride to make it easier to breath, the exercise helps strengthen my lungs. I absolutely despise people that do this.

I hear you. I can't believe the idiocy of people to think this is fun. I have seen it done on purpose to people in little cars before on the highway for no reason at all other than they had their passenger or driver side window open... disgusting.

At this point I wonder if the Miata drive drew, and put a few rounds into the truck, would it be considered 'self defence'?
Argument being they tried to kill him via asphyxiation.

No, that would be a complete over-reaction, and if they had a CCW permit it should be revoked. You think it's ok to shoot at somebody for blowing exhaust on you?
The correct thing to do in this scenario:
1) Merge properly in the first place. LEARN TO ZIPPER!!!
2) If you get smoked out, put your top down and air the car out, then get over it and move on with your day.
Following the truck did nothing but escalate the situation. Sorry about the Miata driver's slightly bruised ego, but I'm sure they'll be just fine.

I can't count how many times I've had to floor it past a bro so I won't get gassed... Assholes don't deserve to have those trucks.

No it's not, especially when the emissions equipment is removed. Diesel exhaust contains all of the following:
nitrogen oxides
sulfates
silicates
soot (which is the carbon-based black smoke)

either way, still wouldnt burn

If the truck was originally equipped with a DPF, then it's a violation of the Clean Air Act to remove it. Max penalty is 10 years in prison.

That is correct.

To be fair, it's against the Clean Air Act to remove or modify any part of the emissions system on a newer car. Tuning a car would also be a violation.
